Offshore Materials Coordinator (Drilling)
Job Description
Akira Energy is looking for an Offshore Materials Coordinator (Drilling & Well Services).
You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate coordination, tracking, and availability of drilling and well services materials offshore. This is a hands-on role requiring strong logistical discipline, stakeholder communication, and excellent SAP capability.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound materials for Drilling & Well Services operations offshore.
- Manage materials requests, reservations, goods movements, and stock visibility in SAP (mandatory).
- Track critical items, expediting where required to prevent operational delays.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure correct documentation for shipments, manifests, and offshore logistics processes.
- Liaise with offshore teams, onshore supply chain/logistics, service companies, and vessel/helicopter logistics.
- Ensure materials are stored, handled, and labelled in line with applicable HSE and offshore standards.
- Report status updates, material risks, and constraints to relevant stakeholders.
Required certifications (must be valid)
- Offshore Medical Certificate (Offshore Medische Keuring)
- VCA Basic (VCA-Basis)
- NOGEPA 0.5 – BOSIET incl. HUET + CA-EBS or OPITO FOET
Required experience & skills
- SAP experience is a must (materials management / inventory / logistics transactions).
- Proven offshore materials coordination experience (preferably within Drilling & Well Services).
- Strong administrative accuracy and data discipline under operational pressure.
- Clear communication skills in a multi-stakeholder offshore environment.
- Strong HSE mindset and familiarity with offshore logistics procedures.
Availability
- Immediate availability required.
- Able to mobilize quickly for a 2-week rotation with crew change in Den Helder (NL).
