Akira Energy is currently looking for an experienced Offshore Report Coordinator to join an upcoming UXO Identification & Clearance (ID&C) campaign offshore Germany.

Project Details
Vessel: Ievoli Cobalt
Scope: pUXO Identification & Clearance (ID&C)
Mobilisation: Around 18 August 2026
Rotation: Approximately 3 weeks (TBC)
Project Duration: Approximately 40 days

Equipment & Software
The project will utilise the following survey equipment and software:

  • HD23
  • TSS
  • MBES
  • OPG
  • QINSy
  • Qimera

Role & Responsibilities
The Report Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate project reporting throughout the offshore pUXO ID&C campaign.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Preparation and coordination of daily, shift and project reports.
  • Compilation of survey and UXO identification/clearance information into the required reporting formats.
  • Maintaining accurate target lists, event logs and operational records.
  • Ensuring consistency between survey data, target IDs, positions and reported operational activities.
  • Liaising with the offshore survey, UXO and project teams to obtain and verify information required for reporting.
  • Monitoring the completeness and quality of reporting documentation.
  • Maintaining project records and ensuring documentation is correctly filed and traceable.
  • Supporting the preparation of client deliverables and final project documentation.
  • Ensuring reports are produced accurately and within the required deadlines.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an offshore Report Coordinator or similar reporting/document-control role.
  • Experience within offshore survey, UXO, geophysical or subsea projects.
  • Good understanding of offshore survey operations and terminology.
  • Previous experience with UXO / pUXO Identification & Clearance projects is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work with survey coordinates, target lists, operational logs and technical information.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to reporting and documentation.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate information between different offshore disciplines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy offshore project environment.
  • Familiarity with QINSy and/or Qimera would be advantageous; however, hands-on survey acquisition or data-processing experience is not considered essential unless specifically required by the project.

Required Certification
Candidates must hold valid:

  • ENG1 Medical Certificate or equivalent
  • BOSIET / FOET
