Service Engineer – Offshore Cranes

€5,000 - €5,500 Per Month

Job Description

Akira Energy is looking for an International Service Engineer – Offshore Cranes with a passion for mechanics and a willingness to work in a dynamic, international environment. You’ll start in the workshop to get familiar with the systems and tools, then move on to field assignments sometimes offshore, often abroad, to make sure cranes and lifting systems operate safely and reliably.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll spend around 60–70% of your time on-site at various locations, both in the Netherlands and internationally. Offshore work may also be part of the role. Tasks include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical faults
  • Installing, assembling, and testing crane and lifting systems
  • Replacing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components
  • Changing steel wire ropes
  • Performing inspections and technical assessments
  • Communicating with clients on-site
  • Writing reports on work performed

What we’re looking for:

  • A technical education (MBO or HBO level)
  • 1–5 years of experience in a technical position
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language
  • Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, or hydraulics
  • Willingness to work at height and travel internationally
