Offshore Roustabout
Job Description
Akira Energy is looking for an Offshore Roustabout to support the permanent offshore team. Since personnel travel to the platform by helicopter every day and spare seats are limited, this candidate must meet all requirements to be allowed on the platform.
Responsibilities:
The Roustabout will play a key role in supporting a wide range of offshore operations. The role includes diesel bunkering, loading and unloading containers, and providing general support for other platform activities.
The Roustabout will also assist with mechanical work, including helideck construction and the reinstallation of the FFLB frame. As part of these activities, the Roustabout will contribute to the preparation of lift plans, which is why a Rigger Stage 4 qualification is required.
In addition, the Roustabout will support daily helicopter and boat operations, helping to ensure that all logistics and operational activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Required certifications:
- A valid Offshore Medical Examination
- A valid VCA Certificate or MIST
- Nogepa 0.5 – BOSIET Incl. HUET + CA-EBS
- Nogepa 0.8 – H2S Certificate
- Nogepa 1.1 – Helicopter Landing Officer
- Nogepa 1.9 – Banksman / Slinger
- Nogepa 2.2 – Offshore First Aid
- Nogepa 2.6 – Fire Fighting Team Member
- Nogepa 2.7 – Coxswain 2.7 AC F
- Rigger Stage 4 Qualification
- S-Cape Evacuation System
- Residency in The Netherlands (for logistical reasons)
- Valid work permit to work in The Netherlands
