Akira Energy is looking for an experienced Offshore Materials Coordinator (MATCO) for a production platform in the Dutch North Sea.
Location: K14 – Dutch North Sea
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Start: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 6 months
As Offshore Materials Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that materials, equipment and supplies are received, registered, stored and distributed correctly on board the platform.
This is a hands-on position where physical materials coordination goes hand in hand with accurate digital administration. You will work closely with offshore departments, onshore logistics teams, the supply base and vendors to make sure the right materials are available at the right time.
Your responsibilities include:
Receiving and inspecting incoming materials, equipment and supplies;
Registering and processing incoming and outgoing materials;
Checking deliveries against purchase orders, manifests and supporting documentation;
Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records;
Coordinating storage and internal distribution of materials on board;
Preparing and coordinating backloads and return shipments;
Ensuring all material movements are correctly registered and traceable;
Following up on discrepancies in deliveries, stock or documentation;
Coordinating with offshore teams, onshore logistics, supply bases and vendors;
Ensuring materials are handled and stored in accordance with offshore HSE requirements.
We are looking for an experienced and practical MATCO who understands both the physical and administrative side of offshore materials management.
You bring:
Previous experience as a MATCO, Materials Coordinator or similar position;
Experience within the offshore Oil & Gas industry;
Preferably previous experience on an offshore production platform;
Good knowledge of materials management, warehousing and offshore logistics;
Strong administrative and organisational skills;
Experience working with digital materials management systems;
Practical experience with SAP;
Experience with TRT is considered a strong advantage;
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently;
Fluent English, both written and spoken;
Dutch language skills are considered an advantage;
Valid offshore certification and medical for the Dutch North Sea;
Availability at short notice for a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
You will join an established offshore operation in the Dutch North Sea, working in a professional and safety-focused environment. The assignment is expected to run for approximately six months, offering a consistent 2/2 offshore rotation.
