What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Prepare and optimize maintenance plans for a wide range of mechanical equipment (HVAC systems, well head control panels, process pumps, gas and diesel engines, fire water systems, heat exchangers, compressors, and more)

• Analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot failures, and provide solutions that keep our operations running smoothly

• Work closely with offshore teams, supporting both day-to-day operations and complex projects or retrofits

• Ensure all work meets the highest safety and environmental standards

• Use SAP to manage workflows, track progress, and report to the Lead Mechanical Engineer

• Supervise contractors, share your expertise, and help drive continuous improvement in reliability, safety, and cost efficiency

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Proven (hands-on) experience with at least 80% of the listed equipment

• Located in the Netherlands with a valid Dutch work visa

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Experience with SAP

• Willingness to go offshore when needed

• Background in offshore, refining, chemicals, or maritime industries is a big plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering OR MBO4 (post-secondary vocational education) with relevant, proven experience
