Position Overview

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing and further professionalizing the financial organization. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.

In this position, you will lead the finance team while actively contributing to daily financial operations.

Project Details

You will be involved in supporting a growing and internationally expanding organization within the energy transition sector. The role focuses on strengthening financial processes, improving reporting structures, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare monthly reports
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
• Advise management based on financial insights
• Oversee cash flow management
• Handle tax filings (including VAT and payroll taxes)
• Lead and support two financial administrative employees
• Actively participate in daily financial operations
• Optimize and professionalize financial processes
• Contribute to the company’s growth and international expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Finance or related field
• Several years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller or Financial Administrator
• Experience within an international staffing or secondment organization is a plus

• Experience with Exact Online & Projects is a plus
