Warehouse Logistic Coordinator

Contract | Supply Chain | The Netherlands

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Logistic Coordinator to support the Supply Chain department within a dynamic energy production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, control, and distribution of materials, tools, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring that operations run safely and efficiently.

As an important link between internal departments, suppliers, and operational assets, you will coordinate warehouse activities, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure materials are available when required. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise warehouse processes, improve quality, and support an effective and future-focused Supply Chain organisation.

This is a contractor position running until at least June 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and issue materials, tools, chemicals, and equipment to operational assets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouse locations.
  • Manage stock movements and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the inventory management system.
  • Monitor warehouse stock and support replenishment activities where required.
  • Ensure warehouse facilities and storage yards remain clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.

Logistics & Material Coordination

  • Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and services to operational sites.
  • Ensure purchased materials meet applicable safety, certification, and industry requirements.
  • Support efficient logistics planning to achieve cost-effective material availability.
  • Assist with the coordination of waste management and hazardous goods storage.

Supply Chain Support

  • Provide day-to-day support to the wider Supply Chain team.
  • Gather, analyse, and communicate information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate enquiries using available systems, databases, and records to provide accurate information.
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to improvements in quality, inventory accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Handle company-sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and accuracy.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive logistics professional who enjoys working in a structured and operational environment. You have a practical mindset, communicate effectively with different stakeholders, and take ownership of your responsibilities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant technical or logistics education.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Good command of both Dutch and English.
  • Experience working with computerised inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Certifications

  • Valid VCA certificate.
  • Forklift licence.
