Project Engineer

Job Description

Akira Energy is looking for a Project Engineer.

Our partner is an international specialist in offshore foundation drilling. Practical, project-driven, designing and building robust mechanical solutions used in global on, near and offshore projects from drawing board to deck, with a strong shop-floor link.

Responsibilities

• Work from the Waddinxveen office as part of the daily engineering activities for on, near and offshore projects.

• Produce production drawings in AutoCAD for modifications to existing equipment used in projects.

• Design new project specific components.

• Create procedural drawings and compile technical manuals.

• Prepare container layouts, packing lists, and commercial invoices for transport.

• Purchase a variety of parts and components.

• Provide further hands on support to the workshop.

Education and Experience

• Technical education at MBO or HBO level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or at least five years of relevant experience.

What We Are Looking For

• An enthusiastic, self driven, and eager to learn engineer with a passion for international on and offshore projects.

• Someone who, in addition to office based engineering, can take on practical site build support when needed.

• Good command of Dutch and English.

• Willingness to occasionally visit project locations, either at our yard in the Netherlands or abroad.
