Jnr. Project Engineer

Job Description

Akira Energy is looking for a Junior Project Engineer.

Our client is an internationally oriented company that provides onshore and offshore services such as large diameter drilling, project engineering (including offshore fixed structures, lifting plans, etc.), and soil investigation.
The office is located in Waddinxveen, and their yard with storage facilities is situated in Ridderkerk.

Responsibilities
You will be based at their office in Waddinxveen and will be involved in their daily engineering activities for their onshore, nearshore, and offshore projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
– Creating production drawings (AutoCAD) for modifications to existing equipment for their projects;
– Designing new project-specific components;
– Creating procedure drawings and drafting technical manuals;
– Developing container layouts and preparing packing lists and commercial invoices for transport;
– Conducting risk assessments;
– Procurement of various components;
– Further support to the workshop.

Qualifications
You are pursuing or have completed a technical education at the MBO or HBO level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
