Offshore Pile Top Driller

Akira Energy is seeking a skilled and experienced Offshore Pile Top Driller to join our client’s offshore construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating drilling machinery and equipment to drill holes in the seabed for the installation of piles. This role is crucial in laying the foundation for offshore structures such as oil drilling platforms, wind turbines, and bridges.

Key Responsibilities:
– Operate pile top drilling equipment to drill holes in the seabed, following engineering plans and specifications.
– Monitor drilling operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure efficiency and safety.
– Collaborate with other crew members to set up and maintain drilling equipment.
– Inspect and perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment and machinery.
– Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
– Respond to any emergencies or operational problems that arise during drilling operations.
– Maintain accurate records of drilling operations, including logs of drilling activity, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as an Offshore Pile Top Driller or similar role in offshore construction.
– Certification in offshore safety and survival training (e.g., BOSIET).
– Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of drilling equipment.
– Strong understanding of engineering plans and specifications.
– Ability to work in challenging weather conditions and rough seas.
– Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
– Commitment to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
