Your Activities
Hydrogen is recognized as a key technology for decarbonizing various hard-to-decarbonize sectors, thus playing a crucial role in the energy transition and our clients / prospects Group’s strategy. They collaborate with partners from business, industry, research, and government on various green (electrolytic) hydrogen projects across Europe.

To further drive their strategic agenda and strengthen their capabilities in hydrogen market research, we are recruiting a new Hydrogen Strategy Manager to strengthen their team. The position is based in Germany but is part of a larger global hydrogen strategy team. Reporting to the Head of Global Strategy, you will closely collaborate with German hydrogen business development and project development teams.

Responsibilities include:
– Leading individual strategic initiatives as a project or workflow manager, coordinating internal and external stakeholders in our client’s projects.
– Investigating and continuously assessing hydrogen markets’ attractiveness for the client, both in Germany and other regions.
– Participating in shaping and evolving a strategic vision based on market and competition analyses.
– Consolidating complex analyses into qualified recommendations for the client’s management and project development teams in the Hydrogen Hub and the broader group.
– Presenting data and information clearly and concisely.
– Supporting communication, regulatory, and policy teams with relevant analyses for stakeholder engagement and regulatory negotiation processes.

Your Profile
– University degree in economics, business administration, engineering, natural sciences, or a similar field.
– Focus on teamwork in an international environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Experience in market analysis and strategy development, e.g., at a consulting firm, investment bank, business strategy department, or similar.
– Affinity with hydrogen and the energy transition in a B2B environment (oil and gas, industry, power generation, etc.).
– Excellent strategic and conceptual skills, proven in complex and ambiguous environments.
– Natural curiosity and a growth mindset.
– Business fluency in English and good German language skills.

Bonus (not mandatory):
– Experience in the hydrogen/energy sector.
– Other language skills (e.g., Dutch).
