Our client is a dynamic and innovative leader in the Renewable Energy and Oil and Gas sectors, specializing in offshore projects and cutting-edge equipment solutions.
They have broad knowledge and extensive experience in storage, handling, and transport of subsea flexibles, cables, and umbilicals, having successfully collaborated with major clients and contractors such as BP, Subsea7, Technip, and Allseas.
Our client provides basket carousels ranging from 350mT up to 7000mT for the installation and storage of cables, umbilicals, and flexible pipelines. Additionally, our client offers Loading Towers to support spooling and laying operations from a basket or reel. As they expand their team, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join their operational & engineering division.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage offshore equipment projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, fabrication, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to optimize project outcomes.
- Monitor and report project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise during the design, fabrication, testing, and installation phases of the carousels and loading towers.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed throughout the project.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and project management methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
- Proven experience as a project engineer or manager in the offshore industry.
- Strong knowledge of offshore engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required (international).
- Proficient in working with Inventor and AutoCad.
- Expertise in composing assembly and production drawings, technical documents, and reports.
